Early Years Centres
Centres de la petite enfance
The care and education children receive before the age of six strongly
determines their abilities to Read,
Learn, Live
& Love
later in life. From the food children eat, to the books
they read and the toys they play with – every advantage we can give
children from pre-natal to age 6 will help them become stronger and more
able adults.

ABOUT OEYC:
The Ontario Early Years Centres have been created
as places for parents and caregivers of children up to the age of six
to get information about children’s development and services to
support that development.
Trained early years professionals and
caring volunteers make up the quality staff at Ontario Early Years
Centres. The Ministry of Community, Family and Children’s Services
provides training for staff of Ontario Early Years Centres to ensure they
provide consistent quality services across Chatham-Kent.
